- Silicone Sheeting can be used in reconstructive surgery. It is available with or without reinforcing and in various thicknesses. Silicone Sheeting uses include: nasal splinting, wound dressing, wound drains, abdominal vents or coverings for neonatal gastroschisis, external suture bolsters, laboratory uses and other uses. Reinforced silicone sheet uses include: osteogenesis, repair of urethral structures and duramater, repair of orbital floor fractures (Special Order).
